No Time To Die: The Daniel Craig Starrer 25th James Bond Film POSTPONED To November, Is Coronavirus The Reason?
The deadly coronavirus seems to have affected almost everything and anything in its sight. Why do we say so? Well, other than all the worldwide panic, the entertainment industry, too, has come under its radar. Be it cancellation of shoots, events or social parties; our celebrities are making it a point to take all the possible preventives. The recent case, reportedly, is that the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die, which stars Daniel Craig in the lead role. As per the officials, its release date has been shifted from April to November.

The team’s official statement read, “MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020.” They added, “The film will be released in the U.K. on November 12, 2020, with worldwide release dates to follow, including the US launch on November 25, 2020.” While they didn’t blame coronavirus for the shift, it was but obvious and fans were quick to express their exasperation on the same. A section of people also supported the maker’s decision.

A fan joked, “Why did they push that new Bond movie to November? No time to die. I know what the title is, but why did they push the release? No time to die. I KNOW what it's called! But why did… #CoronavirusOutbreak,” while another wrote, “You can't blame the producers making this decision, it's a shame but public health is more important than a movie. At least it's better than no film at all. #NoTimeToDie”

Meanwhile, the China screening of No Time To Die was recently cancelled due to the coronavirus scare, neither the cast of this spy thriller will make it to the country for the promotions. No Time To Die is Daniel Craig’s last outing as James Bond.
